Best digital invitation websites in India, compared (2026)
By Ved RK, founder of Shubh Invitation · · 6 min read
There are now many ways to send a wedding invitation on WhatsApp, and they are not the same thing: some make an image or a video to forward, some build an invitation website for you, some send messages and collect replies on WhatsApp. Here is what each popular option actually does and costs, from each company's own pages, so you can pick the one that fits your wedding.
In short
The best digital invitation website depends on what you need. For a free image or video to forward, Canva, Desievite or WedMeGood work. For a done-for-you invitation website, Invifest. For WhatsApp messages and replies at scale, Weddingkart. For a painted invitation with replies for each function and a guest list, paid once, Shubh Invitation, which is ours.

The options at a glance
| Service | What you get | Replies and guest list | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shubh Invitation | A painted invitation link: a gate that opens, a page for every function, music | Guests reply to each function in one tap; host guest list with reminders | Free to start; paid designs ₹499 to ₹1,099; video and more guests from ₹400 extra, paid once |
| Canva | Image and video invitation templates you design yourself; a wedding website builder | Through free RSVP add-ons (Jotform, Pinvite) | Free plan; Pro is a yearly subscription (we could not confirm the Indian price from Canva's site) |
| Crafty Art | Image and video templates, caricatures and a wedding website, on the web and an app | Its wedding website lists online RSVPs and attendance tracking | Free plan with one export a day; paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions |
| WedMeGood | Card designs with a free shareable link; video invitations | RSVP details can be shown on the card; no reply tracking stated | Free link; PDF download ₹249; video invitations from ₹749 |
| Invifest | A done-for-you invitation website with RSVP, maps, music and a gallery | RSVP on the website; host dashboard not stated | From ₹2,499 including tax; custom designs quoted separately |
| Celebrare | Card and video invitations made in an app | Not stated | Free trial and sample video; prices not shown on its page |
| Desievite | Ready-made WhatsApp cards and videos | No RSVP feature described | Cards from ₹70; videos ₹99 to ₹499 |
| Weddingkart | WhatsApp guest messaging for a wedding, not a card designer | WhatsApp RSVP on the Standard plan | ₹5,999 + GST (send only) or ₹14,999 + GST (with RSVP) per wedding |
| Samaro | Event photo sharing, with animated web invites | RSVP and guest management on Premium | First event free (50 guests, 15 days); paid plans per event |
How we compared them
We looked at what matters for an Indian wedding with several functions and a long guest list:
- What guests receive: an image or PDF, a video, or a link that opens an invitation in the browser.
- Replies: whether guests can reply inside the invitation, and whether the host sees replies for each function.
- Guest list: a list of who has replied, with reminders for the rest.
- WhatsApp: sharing a file, sharing a link, or a service that sends messages for you.
- Languages: Hindi and regional scripts, not only English.
- Total cost for one wedding, in rupees with tax, and whether it is paid once or a subscription.
- Do it yourself or done for you, and how long it takes.
Shubh Invitation (ours)
Shubh makes painted invitations that open like a gate, with a page for every function, its own raga and the couple's names, sent as one WhatsApp link that opens in the browser with no app for guests. Guests reply to each function in one tap with how many are coming; the host sees a guest list with opened, replied and waiting counts, and can send each guest a personal link.
- Good for: weddings with several functions, families who want regional wording (Gujarati kankotri, Marathi lagna patrika, Tamil, Bengali and more) and two languages side by side.
- Price: free to start, with a small "Made with Shubh" mark on free invitations. Paid designs cost ₹499, ₹799 or ₹1,099, and the Basic package covers up to 100 guests or families; the Celebration package adds ₹400 for a WhatsApp video and up to 500 guests, and Grand adds ₹600 for unlimited guests and a video for every function. One payment per invitation, never a subscription. See pricing.
- Keep in mind: you make it yourself in the editor; there is no designer service.
Canva
Canva has thousands of invitation templates for images and videos, and a wedding website builder. You design it yourself and share the file or link on WhatsApp. Guest replies need an add-on: Canva lists Jotform RSVP and Pinvite as free apps on any plan.
- Good for: a custom image or video, if you enjoy designing.
- Keep in mind: replies and guest tracking live in a separate form; check canva.com for the current Pro price in India.
Crafty Art
Crafty Art offers image and video invitation templates, caricatures and a wedding website, with category pages in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Odia. Its wedding website page says it can collect online RSVPs and track attendance. Its Android app has over 5 lakh downloads.
- Good for: regional-language templates and caricature invitations.
- Keep in mind: the free plan allows one export a day, and watermark-free export is listed under the paid plans, which are subscriptions.
WedMeGood
WedMeGood, the wedding planning site, lets you customise a card and share a free wedding-website link. A PDF download costs ₹249, and video invitations start at ₹749, with 3D and caricature videos from ₹6,999. Videos take at least 72 working hours, and its page states a no cancellation, no refund policy.
- Good for: a quick card from a familiar wedding brand, or a made-to-order video.
- Keep in mind: no reply tracking for the host is described.
Invifest
Invifest builds an invitation website for you, with RSVP, maps, music, a gallery and a countdown, shared as one WhatsApp link. Templates start at ₹2,499 including tax, delivery is within three days with two rounds of changes, and the link stays live. Its wording samples include Hindi.
- Good for: families who want someone else to set it up.
- Keep in mind: a host dashboard for replies is not described on its pages.
Celebrare and Desievite
Both make ready-to-forward cards and videos. Celebrare is an app with over 10 lakh downloads, a language picker that includes Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Gujarati, and a free sample video before you pay. Desievite sells WhatsApp cards from ₹70 and videos from ₹99 to ₹499, with templates in Hindi, Marathi and other languages.
- Good for: a low-cost card or video to forward.
- Keep in mind: neither describes guest replies or a guest list.
Weddingkart and Samaro
These two are services around the invitation rather than invitation makers. Weddingkart sends your invitations and messages on WhatsApp and, on its Standard plan, collects replies there: ₹5,999 + GST per wedding to send only, or ₹14,999 + GST with RSVP. Samaro is mainly for sharing event photos with guests, with animated web invites and RSVP on its Premium plan; your first event is free for 50 guests and 15 days.
- Good for: very large weddings that want messages sent for them (Weddingkart), or photo sharing at the event (Samaro).
- Keep in mind: you still need the invitation itself.
